The Software Tester role is a member of the testing team responsible for testing of products to maintain a high level of software quality. They work with other testers and developers to deliver projects to agreed functionality and timescales.

• Creation of Test Plans, Test Data and Test Scripts for products
• Testing new and existing products
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle
• Setting up test environments across clients and servers.
• Review and static testing of product documentation
• Recording and managing defects using Test Management tools
• Any other duties as required

• Science degree with life-science background (Chemistry/Biology)
• 1-2 years commercial experience in a similar role

• Experience of using Windows.
• Knowledge and experience of using test tools.
• Show an understanding of software development lifecycle
• 1 - 2 years experience of working in Software testing using:-
• • Test Harness devlopment
  • Automation
• Good communication and the ability to work in a team.
• 'Self starter' with a commitment to detail.
• Ability and willingness to learn and utilise new technology.
• ISEB Foundation Certificate (ideal)
